Let blind emotions not rule us: CM-Guv's Easter greetings

“Let us not allow sentiments be ruled by blind emotions”, said chief minister Manohar Parrikar while greeting all the Goans on the occasion of Easter.
Goa Governor Bharat Vir Wanchoo has also extended his Easter greeting.
In his Easter message, Parrikar said:
“Christians pray for peace and prosperity. All religions celebrate these common values of truth, unity in diversity, freedom of choice and peace. We must seek truth from facts and not allow sentiments to be ruled by blind emotion.”
He further said: “Let us fill our hearts with faith, hope and love by discarding those with racial prejudices and hatred or who preach the language of violence and division. Then only can we realize the ideals and aspirations in the Indian Constitution of forging one nation.”
Governor Wanchoo said in his message:
“Easter symbolizes the resurrection of Jesus Christ who gave to the world the eternal message of brotherhood, love, tolerance, compassion, sacrifice and forgiveness. The divine messages of Jesus Christ are most relevant and have the greatest significance today and are worthy of being followed by the people particularly when there is much hatred, mistrust, intolerance and misunderstanding.”
