Subhash Fladesai's nephew attacking RTI activists

The Right to Information Forum has submitted photo evidence to Margao police regarding attack on RTI activists by ‘unidentified’ persons, including nephew of Sanguem MLA Subhash Faldesai.

The mining dependent people, who came to Margao on 2 March in seven fully loaded buses, had tried to attack the RTI activists while disrupting their small indoor meeting on illegal mining.

The Margao police had then filed an FIR against 100 unidentified persons.

After identifying Faldesai’s nephew, the RTI forum has now sent five more photographs, including four photographs in the CD Blue Chip hall, where the meeting was held.

“We are attaching 4 photos taken on  March 2nd, 2013 in the conference hall of CD Blue Chip Bldg. Persons marked in Red Arrow were uninvited individuals who resisted our call to go out of the hall”, stated Shrikant Barve, the honourary secretary of RTI Forum.

Barve has also stated that the Forum presumes that Faldesai’s nephew has already been booked since his photo evidence was produced to the police much earlier.
