Ex-Dir of AIIMS to guide Goa on healthcare

Dr P K Dave, former director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), will prepare a health roadmap for Goa.
He has been appointed as a consultant on healthcare in Goa.
Health minister Laxmikant Parsekar said he would submit a report in this regard within six weeks.
Dr Dave, a Delhi-based medical practitioner and administrator, has been told to extensively study the strengths and weaknesses of the healthcare system in Goa.
Dr Dave has been told to study the health facility scenario at government level from GMC to primary health centre in the villages as well as the existing healthcare schemes of the government.
His report would also cover the controversial issue of Private Public Partnership (PPP), which was vehemently criticised by the BJP when it was in opposition.
