State Govt makes petrol & diesel cheaper

Petrol and diesel prices in Goa will decrease by 84 paise and 40 paise, respectively, from Wednesday midnight.
State government on Wednesday abolished the state-levied surcharge on both fuels, official sources said.
Earlier, the BJP government had abolished VAT on petrol after coming to power.
Petrol is now set to cost Rs 57 per litre, while diesel will cost Rs 42.98 per litre.
