Intelligence cop to take over as Goa Guv tomorrow

Bharat Vir Wanchoo will take over as Goa’s 16th state governor tomorrow.
He arrived in Goa today along with his wife Nalini, son Ankit, daughter Akriti Kohli, daughter-in-law Rakhi and grand-daughter Amaya.
He was greeted at the Dabolim air port by chief minister Manohar Parrikar, speaker Rajendra Arlekar, opposition leader Pratapsing Rane and top bureaucrats of the state.
Wanchoo will be sworn in at the Raj Bhavan. Chief Justice of Bombay high court would administer him the oath of secrecy.
Known as the intelligence cop, Wanchoo was heading the Special Protection Group till October last year and is also known to be close to Gandhi family.
He has earlier served as the joint director of the Intelligence Bureau and also in the SPG during Rajiv Gandhi as the prime minister of India.
He was also part of the security provided to Sonia Gandhi, UPA Chairperson and her family.
He is the IPS officer of the 1976 batch.

Lets us all hope that the New Governor,will excercise fairness and be impartial,in Goa, rather than be a biased stooge of the Congress Party ,headed by various members of the Indira Gandhi clan,of whom he has been close to.
