Cabinet expansion on Sunday
PTI, PANAJI | 05 April 2012 20:22 IST

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said the state cabinet would be expanded on Sunday, with the induction of seven more ministers.
The swearing-in ceremony would be held at Raj Bhavan, he said, refusing to divulge names.
"I will not disclose anything at this moment. I have decided the names but I need to consult my colleagues," Parrikar said, talking to reporters here.
He also added that there were no differences within the ruling alliance over the expansion.
Five ministers took oath of office alongwith Parrikar on March 9. However, Forest, Environment and Tourism Minister Matanhy Saldanha died subsequently.
The ruling alliance comprises BJP, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party and two independents. MGP has got one berth already, and sources said that another MGP legislator, Dipak Dhavalikar, would be inducted now.
The first meeting of the expanded cabinet will take place on Wednesday, Parrikar said.

This is unfair people voted for BJP not parrikar. If BJP has come to power a great amount of credit goes to Vishnu Wagh. If Vishnu was not there there would have been a reballion in BJP organisation because of non inclusion of Shripad Naik. We should realise that we are a minority among hindus and majority communities should be shown proper respect. Otherwise there will be ill-effects. Arrogance ended Congress. Arrogance will end BJP if not checked in the begining.

What happened to the chances of Vishnu Wagh who was counting his chickens before hatched, sort of pressurizing Parrikar, publicly through prudent media whose interviewer did a nice job 'to bring out the truth through the mouth of Vishnubua.
Wagh must remember that cabinet inclusion is a prerogative of the CM, and publicly demanding for a ministerial position is both uncouth and indiscipline in a party he joined two months before the elections.
