2 each of Alemaos, Monserattes, Ravis and Madkaikars

GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 07 February 2012 20:24 IST

Congress has confirmed it. After two Ranes, now it is two Alemaos, two Ravi Naiks, two Monserattes and two Madkaikars from one family to be the Congress candidates.

The second list released today by the Congress still keeps four constituencies on hold – Fatorda, Canacona, Sanvordem and Mormugao.

Adding to Churchill and Joaquim Alemao, the Congress has confirmed ticket to Churchill’s daughter Valanka from Benaulim.

Cuncolim MLA Joaquim Alemaos is still trying NCP ticket for his son Yuri from Sanguem.

Jennifer Monseratte has also been confirmed for Taleigao, after agreeing to shift her minister husband Babush to St Cruz, by sidelining Victoria Fernandes.

Ponda MLA Ravi Naik has also succeeded in getting Madkai ticket for his son Ritesh.

His attempts are still on to get Mayem ticket for his second son Roy through the NCP.

Cumbarjua MLA Pandurang Madkaikar has also put his hat in the ring of family dynasties by getting his own ticket and Priol ticket for his brother Dhaku.

Meanwhile, South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha has been denied ticket to his son Shalon, as Curtorim MLA Alex Reginald Lawrenco has been declared as the Congress candidate.

He had defeated Sardinha in the last Assembly election as the Save Goa Party candidate, along with Churchill in Navelim defeating Luizinho Faleiro.

Both of them had then joined the Congress.

Vishwajeet Rane has succeeded in getting ticket to his yet another supporter Uday Palyekar from Siolim.

Besides father-son Rane duo, candidate supporters of Vishwajeet are now two former BJP MLAs Rajesh Patnekar (Bicholim) and Dayanand Sopte (Mandrem), besides Sanquelim MLA Pratap Gawas and Palyekar.

The Congress however is still debating over Isidore Fernandes and Vijay Pai Khot in Canacona, Vijay Sardesai and Pratima Coutinho in Fatorda as well as Sankalp Amonkar and Saifullah Khan in Mormugao.

Sanvordem has been kept on hold since Congress has promised one ticket to Muslim community, which would be either in Mormugao and Sanvordem.

As the mines of goa are robbed by the congress and now the dust is blown on the eyes and face by the same currupt congress party. Mother and son running mafia rule at the centre and finances are collected by their state govt where ever they are rulling. My humble request for goans this is the time to teach them the lesson to get rid of all this family dynasty politics especially teh shameless Ranes, alemaos, monserattes, Digamber and Drug agent Rave Naik who will beg in the name of secular to vote for the cupput hand.. You will see the difference on 6th March. Ofcouse the curruption won't be wiped out but it will reduced where atleast some progress will be made from the income which Goa earns .

Get ready to welcome the new Kings....The Politics is the most lucrative business as the wealth gets multiplied without much efforts. Good idea of sharing it and keeping it within the family itself....May be in coming few years we will find the whole of Goa will be ruled by a very few families....Welcome the .Monarchy coming by backdoor.....
