PTI, PANAJI | 01 November 2011 23:22 IST

Senior BJP leader L K Advani today alleged that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was heading the most corrupt government since Independence.
Singh is presiding over the most corrupt government since Independence.Corruption has attained gigantic proportions in the country in the last two years, he said at a rally at Polem, about 80 kms from here.
The octogenarian leader claimed that his Jana Chetana Yatra was receiving an over-whelming support due to the public anger against the UPA government.
"The response for this yatra is much more compared to my earlier yatras. This is basically because of the public anger towards corruption," he said.
The yatra has been well accepted wherever I went not only because of the organisational capacity of the party, but also due to the immense anger against corruption amongst people, he added. Advani will leave for Maharashtra tomorrow.
Advani's yatra passed through Balli and Quepem to coverte into a public meeting in Curchorem, for the South Goa.
Later, via Sanvordem, Shiroda and Ponda, the yatra merged into a public meeting late night at Mapusa, for the North Goa.
Advani is expected to address a press conference in Panaji tomorrow morning, before heading for Maharashtra.

Mr. Advani Bab your speech and comment on Dr. Manmohan. You said he is most corrupt PM. What about people in your party? You are trying to gain election support. BJP has no place in
Goa or else in Maharashtra remember that. Mr.Advani do not try to fool people of Goa and Mahrashtra.
