Vasco-Sesa to kick off Federation Cup

Vasco Sports Club will take on Sesa Football Academy in the opening match of the Federation Cup qualifying knock-out round at the Duler stadium in Mapusa on September 14.

Sporting Clube de Goa and Malabar United, the other two teams in Group B, will cross swords the next day. 

Winners of both matches will clash in the final on September 17 for a place in the tournament proper, according to an AIFF release. 

Group A matches will be held at Silchar in Assam, while Group B matches will be played at Duler. 

Fixtures: Group A at Silchar 

Sept15: Oil India vs Mohammedan sporting (match 1). 

Sept 16: NISA, Manipur vs Shillong Lajong FC (match 2). 

Sept 18: Winner Match 1 vs Winner 2. 

Group B at Duler 

Sept 14: Vasco vs Sesa Football Academy (match 1). 

Sept 15: Sporting Clube de Goa vs Malabar United (match 2). 

Sept 17: Winner match 1 vs Winner 2.
